I have done four workshops this year, two of which have been working with willow. Having a splendid day out meeting people, but also extending skills and challenging oneself.
The first was a bird/basket as above and I made it into a goose rather than a duck. It gave movement with the goose's bill open as if hissing. The second workshop was a four foot doe deer.
This was great to do. I shall have to do a stag to go with it!
The other two were a demo at Sarah Raven's Perch Hill (lovely garden and a super lunch), Sarah made us very welcome and a jewellery day with Wendy Andrade, which was very informative.
